Meet Ellie in Space
Ellie in Space, also known as Eliana Sheriff, calls Austin, Texas home. Her curiosity for discovery and storytelling has taken her on a cross-country adventure ever since graduating from LMU in 2014.
Her journey into journalism began with her first job as a news reporter in Rapid City, South Dakota. Driven by a passion for sharing important stories, she spent nearly a decade working in the TV news industry across various states, learning about people and communities along the way.
After ten years chasing stories for television, Eliana made the bold and exciting decision to move on from traditional news to become a full-time independent space reporter. She now brings uplifting, educational, and insightful space content to audiences everywhere as Ellie in Space.
